First in-person project meeting

The first in-person project meeting was held in Sofia on June 12-13, 2023. The meeting was attended by partners from five countries (Poland, Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia and Spain). Our partner from Romania joined us on-line and participated in all the scheduled sessions.

The partners discussed the process for the development of the Conceptual framework. They have agreed on the preparation of questionnaire and the collection of necessary data for the deep research and gap analysis for the Framework development.

The partners discussed also the training kits and the three new topics – the module on History; the module on European culture & the module on European integration

Second in-person project meeting

The second in-person project meeting was held in Belgrade on October 24-25, 2023. The meeting was attended by partners from five countries (Poland, Serbia, Croatia, Romania and Spain). Our partner from Bulgaria joined us on-line and participated in all scheduled sessions.

The partners discussed the collected feedback and the results and agreed on the prompt completion of the Conceptual Framework within mid-November 2023. The document will consist of two parts: Overview and Conceptual Framework.

The partners concentrated on the elaboration of training materials based on the agreement reached at the Sofia meeting. Each partner presented the feedbacks from the discussions within the local teams. Afterwards, the partners agreed on the structure of the Training kits and the distribution of the roles for the content development.

Third in-person project meeting

The third in-person meeting has been held on 29 and 30 June 2024 at the premises of the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Zagreb.

The third meeting gathered representatives of all project partners in one place to allow them to discuss the main key points of the project realisations.

The main focus of the meeting was the development and finalisation of the Training Kits – the current state of play, the overcome challenges and the main tasks ahead. The partners have discussed all the developed materials and resources so far; how they correlate and what revisions and amendments should be done for the finalisation of the training kits’ content.

Afterwards, the partners discussed the content development of the Manual for the university academia and the Guidebook on Europia concept. They have revised the available materials and assigned tasks for the additional content.

The first day of the meeting finished with the presentation of the beta version of the educational platform and the structure of the interactive repository.

The second day was reserved for the discussion of the Interim Report feedback, for the status of the achievement of the qualitative and quantitative indicators and ways to reach them, for the dissemination progress and indicators.

Last but not least, the partners discussed the preparation and the organisation of the pilot Summer School in Warsaw in the end of August.

Fourth in-person project meeting

The fourth in-person meeting was held on 30 and 31 January 2025 in the premises of the Transylvanian University of Brasov in Brasov. It was attended by all project partners.

The main focus of the meeting was to discuss the forthcoming national piloting of the EUROPIA training materials, the platform and the e-library. The partners agreed that the piloting would be conducted simultaneously in all countries in the period February and March 2025. The feedback will be provided in mid-April and then all final corrections will be done by mid-May. Thus, all materials will be available for the Final conference in Spain.

Afterwards, the partners discussed the plan for the large scale digital conference that needs to be conducted in the last months of the project. PAX presented the plan and strategy for the campaign organisation and conductions. After the discussions, the final version of the strategy was approved.

The partners discussed also the organisation and their participation in the Final promotional conference of the project in Navarra. The national promo conferences were also subject of consideration and discussion.

The Website content, educational platform and interactive library were presented & reviewed. The partners made their final comments on their outlook, structure and content. After the meeting PAX will be responsible to align all remarks and have the website & platform ready for the piloting in due time.

The second day of the meeting was dedicated to the topics of quality management, quality & quantitative indicators achievement status, project results and project implementation quality status as well as the dissemination indicators and the forthcoming dissemination activities.

Final project meeting & the International Conference – Current challenges for the Rule of Law in Europe

The final project meeting was held on 26th and 27th May 2025 in Pamplona, Spain. It was conducted alongside with the International Conference – Current challenges for the Rule of Law in Europe, organised by the Public University of Navarra.

On 26th May 2025 the conference was opened with the first session being focused on the presentation of the project Europia and its training web-platform. On 27th May 2025 the representatives of the partner organisations participated in the different panels of the conference with dedicated articles.

Afterwards, the partners have conducted a short in-person meeting to discuss the final steps for the closure of the project. They have also discussed all steps for the preparation of the final reports and have assigned the tasks and deadlines between themselves. New ideas for project continuation has also been discussed.
